Where you love to play golf, was once just farmland and a vision by 3 men who were tired of traveling out of Akron to play golf.
Originally a 9 hole course, it was expanded to 18 holes in 1965.
The name comes from a combination of the Daniels/DeYoung surnames and that it was once farmland.
The lush green course is located in picturesque Akron, NY at 13278 Carney Road.
Although free of sand traps, the layout, water hazards and old growth trees make for a unique and challenging round of golf.
Appropriate golf attire required at all times.
Collared shirts with sleeves, turtlenecks, or mock turtlenecks required.
Absolutely No Tank Tops for Men or Women Allowed.
Soft spikes and sneakers are acceptable footwear.
Not Permitted: Sweatpants, denim shorts, gym shorts, tank tops, or swimsuits of any style or color.
No alcoholic beverages of any kind to be brought onto property.
USGA Rules will govern all play.
Pace of play: 18 holes = 4 Hours 15 Minutes
Golfers are expected to observe and respect the golf course and follow proper etiquette.
Replace all divots.
Repair all ball marks on the greens, yours and one other.
Groups stopping to eat at the Clubhouse or Turn will forfeit their position to the group behind them.
